Dr. James W. Partington

James W. Partington, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is the director of Behavior Analysts, Inc., and provides training and clinical services to other professionals, educators as well as to children and their families. He is a licensed psychologist with over 40 years of experience working with children with autism, language delays, and/or other developmental disabilities. He is internationally recognized as a leader in the field of behavior analysis with expertise in language-based interventions. He is known for his work in teaching parents and professionals about practical, evidence-based procedures necessary for effective educational interventions.

He has been a faculty member of several universities including West Virginia University, University of San Francisco and St. Mary’s College. Dr. Partington is a former President of the Northern California Association for Behavior Analysis and has served as a member of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. He has co-authored the book, Teaching Language to Children with Autism or Other Developmental Disabilities. He is the author of The Assessment of Language and Learning Skills-Revised (The ABLLS-R®) and Capturing the Motivation of Children with Autism. He has also produced several instructional videos related to effective treatment for children with autism.

Dr. Michael M. Mueller

Michael M. Mueller, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is the co-founder of Southern Behavioral Group and Stimulus Publications. He has dedicated his practice of Applied Behavior Analysis with children with autism in homes, schools, state residential facilities, group homes, clinics, and other community settings for over 20 years. He has delivered more than 100 conference presentations both nationally and internationally. Dr. Mueller’s research includes parent and teacher training, functional analysis and behavioral assessments in school settings, pediatric feeding disorders, compliance training, discrete trial and errorless learning, along with reducing multiple behavioral challenges demonstrated by children with autism. His research has been published in many prestigious school psychology and applied behavior analysis journals. Dr. Mueller is a Past President of the Georgia Association for Behavior Analysis and a Past Chair of the Behavioral School Psychology Interest Group of the National Association of School Psychologists. He is the author of 4 books including The BIG Book of ABA Programs and Behavior Analytic Consultation to Schools, and developed The Autism Skill Acquisition Program™, which is a complete ABA-based teaching program for children with autism.
